
In an article published on March 10, 2026, Museums Association highlighted statements and remarks made by heritage organizations expressing their concern about the conflict in Iran, the Gulf region, and the Eastern Mediterranean. The article discussed USCBS’ statement, as well as those made by UNESCO, ICOMOS, and ICOM, which similarly urge all involved parties to comply with international law to protect and preserve cultural property.
