In an effort to connect more effectively with our membership, we have recently updated our individual membership structure here at USCBS. There are now four individual membership tiers, and the term of membership aligns directly with the calendar year.
This means that, as we approach the end of 2024, we encourage all current members to renew today! Just choose your corresponding membership tier to continue your valuable support through 2025.
And if you are not yet a member, there is no better time to join us in our mission of preserving cultural property during armed conflict and natural disasters.
Not only will your membership or renewal directly help to fund programs that support the Blue Shield mission, but it will also give you access to our membership benefits. These include a complimentary Blue Shield pin upon request, a subscription to the USCBS mailing list, and invitations to members-only USCBS events, including our brand new members-only webinars! The first of these webinars will be held on Thursday, December 5th at 1:30 pm EST. As 2024 is the 70th anniversary of The Hague Convention, we’ll be wrapping up the year with a webinar on this year’s cultural heritage protection efforts in the United States and abroad. The speakers include USCBS officers, Patty Gerstenblith, James Reap, and Laurie Rush, and Board member Corine Wegener. Registration information will be sent to those with active memberships in the coming weeks, so join as a member today to secure your invitation!
If you have any questions about USCBS membership, please don’t hesitate to reach out to hq@uscbs.org or connect with us via social media. We are deeply grateful to our members who help us to preserve the past and protect the future.
