The manual, written by Emilie Gagnet Leumas and Margaret Crockett, is titled “Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness: A Manual for Protecting Archives,” and includes information on the creation of disaster plans, the impact of disasters on archives, the establishment of a disaster response team, post-emergency procedures, recovery efforts, and rehabilitation.
It is available for download on the ICA’s website here.
